Lithium mineralization extended in Quebec project

Q2 Metals Corp. has announced significant results from its 2026 summer drill program at the Cisco Lithium Project in Quebec, Canada. The project, located within the greater Nemaska traditional territory, has seen the extension of near-surface mineralization by 100 meters to the north.
The drill program, which began in June, has completed a total of 19,521 meters over 43 drill holes to date. Five drill rigs are currently operating at the site, with two focusing on infill drilling and three on expansion and exploration drilling.
Drill Results
Drill hole CS26-096 intercepted two separate intervals, including 134.5 meters at 1.20% Li₂O and 101.6 meters at 1.02% Li₂O. The entire 101.6-meter interval is outside of the conceptual pit-shell defined in the April 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate.
Another drill hole, CS26-095, confirmed the main zone of the Cisco Deposit at its western margin with 10 separate spodumene pegmatite intervals, including 70 meters at 1.28% Li₂O and 31.3 meters at 1.00% Li₂O.
The April 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate outlined a pit-constrained resource of 270 million tonnes grading 1.36% Li₂O and an additional underground-constrained resource of 24 million tonnes grading 1.34% Li₂O. Q2 Metals expects to publish its inaugural Preliminary Economic Assessment on the Cisco Lithium Project in Fall 2026.
They have now extended the previously known mineralization of the Cisco Deposit by an additional 100 meters to the north at a shallow depth.”
Exploration Program
The 2026 exploration program is ongoing, with a primary focus on infill drilling aimed at advancing the resource toward an indicated resource classification. Q2 Metals has also initiated regional greenfield exploration, including indicator mineral till sampling and geochemical soil sampling, to evaluate high-priority targets surrounding the Cisco Deposit.

With $70.9 million on its balance sheet as of August 31, 2026, Q2 Metals is well-capitalized to continue delivering across all major workstreams and unlock the full potential of the Cisco Lithium Project.
The company’s exploration efforts are supported by a strong technical team, including Neil McCallum, a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101, who has reviewed and approved the technical information in the news release.
The Cisco Lithium Project remains open along strike, with several additional high-priority targets identified across the broader 41,253-hectare project area. The project’s strategic location, just 6.5 kilometers from the paved Billy Diamond Highway, provides access to rail infrastructure and deep seaports beyond.
The analytical results from the drill program are subject to quality assurance and quality control protocols, including the insertion of quartz blanks and certified reference materials into sample batches. These results will be used to inform the Preliminary Economic Assessment and future exploration and development plans.
Drill hole CS26-096 intercepted a significant interval of 134.5 meters at 1.20% Li₂O, starting at surface and continuing to approximately 100 meters below surface.
Regional Exploration Update
The objective of the regional program is to collect information that could potentially lead to new discoveries at the Cisco Project.
Channel sampling is designed to collect resource-definition-quality surface data to complement the drilling program and enhance geological interpretation of the deposit. Analytical results from the mineral till and soil sampling and channel sampling will be reported when received and validated.
